Noted with parental pride—the opening for press and patrons of “Absence/ Presence” at George Washington University’s art gallery. Very present there, our PABLO (yeah!), along with other photographers of the absent--among them, Nancy Breslin and William Christenberry. On a monitor, Pablo’s haunting images of rural and urban ruins, from streetcar graveyards to iron mines to presidential parks. The ache of abandoned spaces. Open through November 20, if anyone is in DC!
